Blue Bird has a long history of creating quality buses. In 1927 the first bus rolled off the line at the factory in Georgia. Then in 1963 the first Bluebird Wanderlodge Motor Coach was brought to the market.
This 1978 Bluebird Wanderlodge Motor Coach was purchased new in 1978 by a central Florida family who were University of Florida alumni and Florida Gator fans. They used this motor home to go to Florida Gator games and in the process the 'Travel 'N Swamp" became a well known feature at the University of Florida.
The current owners purchased the Bluebird Wanderlodge Motor Coach in 2005. The bus is original as far as the current owners are aware, with the exception of the driver, passenger seats, couch, chair and dining benches having been recovered.
The Wanderlodge Motor Coach is in excellent condition and runs great.
It can sleep up to 6 people comfortably. 2 in the rear double bed, 2 in the folding kitchen bed and 2 in the pullout sofa bed.
This Wanderlodge Motor Coach is all steel construction fully painted with no rust.
